  • My kids loved the 3 hours they spent at the Tacoma Children's Museum! It is great that there is no set rate to come play and learn here. It makes it very family friendly. But please if you can donate even a few dollars please do, it can help keep they museum open and updated and clean and safe. The museum is a good size not so small that the little guys and girls will get bored quickly, but not so big that you could lose track of them. And there are many different exhibits so everyone can find something that interests them.
  • Clean facility with nice staff, lots of fun hands on activities for kids (I'd say about eight and under). Multiple areas with different sensory items. One bathroom located in the actual playing area but otherwise the main restroom is decently accessable. You can bring snacks, eating them at the tables in the main lobby area, no coffee sold at the facility right now, pay as you please is amazing.
  • A pretty amazing facility. It is basically a kids play area with a learning and development bent. There is a pirate ship with flitting wings, a tree house with stuffed toys, a water area, a book five, a , an exploratory area with tools and art, plus v scull They have a limited eating area, but washrooms are clean and well maintained. Price is by donation, and your patient helps support the museam stay open for all families. A really great experience. Parking is limited to street (cheap) or some limited parking if you are a paid member. They are on transit lines. Bike tracks close by.
  • Fun little place for children of all ages. They have different areas and things for the kids to interact with. An arts and crafts room, playgrounds, water toy area, building blocks, etc. My daughter took a while to warm up to it but 2 hours later she didn't want to leave. Good place to bring the kids in Tacoma.
  • Children’s Museum of Tacoma is a gem of an indoor playground in the heart of downtown Tacoma. All my kids thoroughly enjoy their experience here, especially the water play area. Renting out the facility for birthday parties is a nice treat as normal hours can get crowded.
