  • Went with my husband, adult son, and his 2 year old daughter. This place is just amazing. So many things to do even for little ones on a rainy day.

  • My daughter loves it here. For a smaller children's museum, it has a good selection of activities and all of the toys and materials are in great condition. Plus, the staff and volunteers are very friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy working there. We have been to several children's museums in WA and other states and so far this is our favorite, because of the quality (if not necessarily quantity) of offerings and great staff and volunteers.
  • Easily the best. The folks that operates this establishment have it worked out. The areas are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the activities are all hands on. The ability to take my kid here has been wonderful. There is not really any other place like it.
  • The Children's Museum of Tacoma is a fun and safe place to bring your young children. It is a relatively small space but has enough things to keep a 2 year old entertained for a clue of hours.
  • What a great place! They have so many fun things for the kids to enjoy as well as the adults. Also gave me a few great ideas for things to do with them at home. They have a water area where kids put on aprons to play while also learning about water. The art room was fun and we especially enjoyed the giant wall vacuum thingy that sucked up scarved that the kids put in and blew them out in different spots with a gust of air following. Lots of fun for the whole family!
  • Took my 3 and 2 year old here and they loved it! My little girl didn't want to leave the little kitchen play area and my son was having so much fun with the water! Totally recommend for smaller kids, since I think bigger kids do get bored fast, but definitely worth the drive for me :D also, it's free (or donate what you can) and personally I like to give at least $10 dollars every time I go, I feel like it's the right thing to do since this place is clean and the staff is nice. Worth checking out if your kids are on the smaller (in age) side.
