WonderWorks Destiny, Syracuse
(4/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
WonderWorks is an amusement park for the mind with 40,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.

This once top-secret laboratory was located in the Bermuda triangle. An experiment gone awry lifted the laboratory carrying it to Destiny USA in Syracuse where it landed upside down. Luckily all of the exhibits remained intact and available for guests to explore.

  • Our family has been to WW three times in the past year. We hope to return in a month or so. It doesn't disappoint. Fun, interactive displays. Virtual plane landings, crazy gyroscope ride, bed of nails...  more »
  • The facility is a great place to spend time with kids of all ages. However, on a recent visit I noticed that several exhibits were out of order, indicating that years of visitors have shown their wear...  more »
  • Oh my gosh...I can't tell you how much there is. This is something you just got to try before you understand. I'm hoping to take my younger two there next year for their birthday. Yes I will pull them...  more »

  • Wow! We traveled this time with no kids and this place was still awesome. I wanted to visit to try the Rope Challenge myself. I did, it was scary but great! But as other reviewer mentioned it, would be great if the staff could interact and encourage children and adults ( like me, over 40y ) how to handle the obstacles.
  • came on a monday and stood in line to get in for almost an hour. many people left the line. we would have to if we didnt have a gift card. plan on a very long wait before you get in.
  • This place has a lot of hands-on stuff for kids of all ages. It also has a rope climbing attraction. And there is also one for little kids. That one isn't as scary as the huge one, though.
  • A little pricey to take more than two children at a time. However they had a wonderful time.
  • We went with the local Boy Scout Troop, and the boys loved all three things- the ropes course, Wonder works and laser tag. I was concerned that the things in Wonder works would be for a younger age, but found it was perfect for the boys ages (12 - 16). Some of the boys flew through the ropes course, while others took their time, based on their comfort level. But the course was also designed for various age levels/comfort levels.
