  • Very friendly staff. Limited food menu but the chicken wrap with walnuts and dried cherries was very tasty. Beer ( IPA) was quite good. You can sit indoors or outside. In the back are plenty of picnic...  more »
  • I love this place! Great beers and amazing food. You can sit inside and play a board game with the family. Or sit outside at the picnic tables. They have fire pits, horse shoes, music, movies etc. Cas...  more »

  • Pros: -Awesome atmosphere. Craftsmen style with great music. -Friendly and caring staff. Bar tenders were personable, and quick to explain their brews. -Fair prices. You could easily spend the eve here without breaking the bank. Cons: [Coming from Grand Rapids, where breweries are everywhere:] Overly restrictive on policies: most breweries and restaurants use an effective tool called the traffic light system to determine when to serve and when to cut off. My boyfriend was told after two drinks that policy is a two-drink max on certain beers. Idiots abound nowadays, but don't tell me you're unable to serve me because a blanket policy exists on certain brews. -Pet policy: I love dogs, but I absolutely get that there's a time and a place where a dog is inappropriate. A relaxing outdoor lounge with picnic tables and outdoor games might be appropriate for our furry friends. All said, beautiful bar and have definitely figured out some great hops, but Hop Lot has a long ways to go before they'll be competing with the likes of Founders.
  • This place is awesome. Like beer garden paradise. Pulled pork and chicken is top notch. Tacos, guac good too. Red over Red and Norseman beers were great. Highly recommend this place.
  • Waited patiently on food for about 30 minutes after ordering (with a group that received their food 20-25 minutes before us) Went up twice and got the response "Just a minute"...we had ordered two hot dogs and pulled pork sliders. I was extremely disappointed with my experience overall. Daughters did enjoy the corn hole game (thus the 2 rating). Was recommended by the family with us and they felt worse than the staff. Can't recommend, but I'm definitely sure they won't care.
  • Great beers and kiddo friendly! The hubby and I took the trail from downtown to the place but the scenic route wiggling through the woods for the last bit with a stroller was fun. You have to wiggle to the back of this bakery then across their parking lot to pick up the "Trail" again. Without a stroller totally doable and either way keeps you off the main road.
  • This place could be amazing had I been able to enjoy it. Unfortunately we were camping and brought our pup with us and they are completely antidog here. Of all places, you'd think they would bend the rules here and have a dog section like they do in downtown restaurants on the patio. They wouldnt let me even take her out in the parking lot.
