  • Bucketlist item! We went in April 2019 and the weather was warm, but the water was on the cooler side for me. Definitely hope to do this again one day!  more »
  • Great place but they also abuse animals. Please please dont use them to carry your stuff. Make sure to only bring what you can carry!  more »
  • Terrible customer service. We were a finger click away from making reservations this year and then saw the only option is to camp for 4 days, $395/person... I'd rather fly to Mexico than pay that to.....  more »
  • This is an amazing place, well worth the effort to get here. Crystal blue-green water lazily flows from waterfall to waterfall. It truly is a must-see experience. The tallest waterfalls, Havasu and Mooney, are majestic and powerful. But there are scores of smaller falls all throughout the stream formed by the lime deposits in the water. The whole area is unbelievably picturesque. If you are camping in the Havasupai Campground, be aware of the squirrels and raccoons. Tie your packs up in the trees, but not too close to the branches. The raccoons come at night, roaming in groups from camp to camp looking for food that has been left too close to the grounds. The squirrels take the day shift, swiping any food that is left out, or too close to the ground or branches. Both the raccoons and the squirrels will chew through tents and backpacks to get to food. String it up if you are not using it.
  • Clear and cool turquoise water in the middle of the dessert. A place you must visit at least once (or 3 times) before you can’t make the 10 mile hike.
  • Could this be one of the coolest things in the entire world? Absolutely! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity when you go down into the canyon and see this great and amazing waterfall. It is just absolutely breathtaking words can’t describe it. This is definitely that Kodak moment that you could show the people when you brag to your friends where you been all summer long.
  • This an amazing place to visit. Plan ahead and get your permits. Keep an eye on the weather and hike in/out accordingly. I uploaded some images to show the contrast of the waterfalls before and after a storm as well as what the hike in can look like when the rains happen... you are hiking in a desert and water all comes down into the canyon where you are hiking through so it can be pretty majestic to witness but also dangerous. Be safe and have fun!
  • Hiking down to Havasu Falls is an experience of a lifetime. Hiking back out will allow you to experience true pain. You'll reconsider every other pain you've ever had and compare every future pain to the last 2 miles out. That being said, down at the falls you will see things that many other people will only dream of. Beautiful teal waters, lush trees full of raccoons, cliff faces all around you with small pockets of oases. You can climb down to Mooney falls, and hike down to Havasu falls. If you still have the energy, you can trek down to Beaver Falls to check out the third waterfall. You must pack every in and out, so plan smart. Lightweight everything. Dried foods are a must. There is a spring onsite with clean water. Don't be scared. Just do it.
