  • I love Oyster Bay, it is challenging and in good condition. This week they had a deal you couldn't refuse $25 after 12 golf, 2 drinks including beer and lunch. Played in 4.5 hours and really enjoyed i...  more »

  • Had a 1:24 tee time; pulled up to the bag drop at 12:45, there were at least 3 dozen bags sitting there waiting to be placed. Almost 4 dozen carts lined up. Looked like a couple tour buses had pulled up and dropped everyone off; and mostly groups of women. The parking lot was completely full, and folks were double-parked, even in no parking zones. I circled around and put my bag back in the car. The attendant was incredulous "Aren't you going to play?!?!" Hell no, was looking at a 6 hour round. Went down the road to another course; the bag attendant said "Oyster Bay just books groups, doesn't pay attention to spacing, and tee times are merely a suggestion." That's too bad, this used to be one of my favorite courses. No more. Was here last year, and the round was 5 1/2 hours. Not coming back, there are many more better choices.
  • Speaking from a resident's perspective, this is a great neighborhood in which to live. I don't golf, but have walked the cart paths many times and the views are stunning! Course seems to be very well maintained at all times. Lots of new construction right now, so home value will likely start increasing soon. Friendly neighbors who like to walk their dogs and stop to talk.
  • Seems to be degrading. Used to look forward to coming but was disappointed with the overall course condition. Tee blocks were unmown, fairways had dead areas. Greens were in decent shape.
  • I wish I could have more positive things to say about Oyster Bay, but I do not. Overall the course in December was actually really great. The service and the interaction between guest and host was terrible. Most everyone was rude. Huge disappointment. Won't be coming back. Tnans
  • Nice neighborhood. You will never get lost in that area. Because the roads are all straight like a square. Churches, tombs, bay, shops are all together. Park cars by the roads.
