  • My kids are 16, 14 and 10 - and they all enjoyed the Nature Center. We waked to the active beaver dam, saw lots of frogs (and heard their splashes). Inside the Center are displays that are interesting...  more »

  • A great space. Well worth the admission fee. The small indoors section is surprisingly packed with options for kids and adults. There's a reptile section in there. The staff was very friendly and the outdoor space is very peaceful. The lake was populated with ducks, geese, and swans who were very talkative. There are predatory birds (disabled/unable to be released) in cages to see and they're building additional space for them to live in. There's a little walk you can do that has amazing views of the surrounding mountains and pastures. You'll be surprised to find a bookshelf at one of the benches too!
  • Must see, it is worth the time. Great for kids
  • Cool little nature center with awesome birds of prey and more.
  • I love the sunriver nature center go there i spend a lot of time there with my dad jimmie erickson naturalist at the nature center i love to do the junior naturalist program if i do it in 2016 i will be the frist person to do it for 3 years in a row......anyway if you are looking for something fun to do go to the sunriver nature center fun place to go lot of activities too.☺
  • This place is great! The family membership is awesome! We always enjoy visiting the nature center with all ages and great to go on a day when they have the free solar viewing at the Observatory. Membership in ASTC has allowed us entry into at least 5 other science centers in the U.S and Canada when we are traveling . . .resulting in big savings for us and more great learning experiences for our budding scientist and our family. They also have great programs, activities and the staff is very nice, helpful and accommodating.
