  • Every Year I plan a huge camping trip for me and friends in October. Each time we go to a new park's pioneer area. we LOVED Sloppy Floyd. there were so many trails to go on, the pioneer site is right next to the water, and the bathroom was donated by a boyscout troop so its not so creepy feeling (still essentially a pit privy, but much nicer.) We love to stay at the pioneer spots so we don't disturb any other campers and essentially ends up cheaper if you have the amount of people. the area was clean and we left it the same way we found it. the park rangers were very nice.
  • One of my favorite places to go hike. Beautiful scenery and kid friendly. Lots of outdoor lover options to choose from. I love it!!!
  • Great trails and a really nice marble mine remnants. Didn't have time to take advantage of all of the amenities but I'll definitely be going back.
  • Boring and small. Not for hiking. More of a casual walk in the woods
  • This is a beautiful state park in northern Georgia. We called near the lake in the "primitive" camp site. There is an out house here with no running water. It had a not so nice smell so if you are sensitive to this, you won't like it. Beyond that I loved the place and want to come back.
