  • Every time that I have gon in I feel that I am being talked down to, the prices ars MSRP Plus, there are to many other gun shops that are cheaper and friendly.  more »
  • Take a trip down to ATP in Summerville and you will have found your "Candy Store". More than just a gun store. Staff is accommodating and ready to answer your firearm questions. Selection is more than...  more »

  • Most of the staff is friendly and informative. We got some very good info on our first handgun purchase and were able to make good decisions on which one to buy. Some of the guys who work the gun rental counter are kind of moody, though, and make you feel like you're bothering them. Overall it's still a decent place.
  • I have attended ladies night here, which was nice. I just wish the target wasn't so close the entire time. I have also been back to use the range.y husband and I have bought a couple of guns from here too, as well as accessories. The staff is super friendly and take their time with you. They like to joke around, which I like too. Knowledgeable and helpful. I really like the salesman Eric. He is always awesome to deal with.
  • I was initially impressed upon entering ATP but when it came to getting some help I was disappointed. Except for one middle aged blonde lady ("I'm a Ruger gal"), the staff was busy talking amongst themselves and couldn't be bothered by several patrons waiting patiently at the counter, I wound up buying my new pistol from another store in the area; Allied Arms just up the road at College and 78. ATP had a large section but how do they sell anything? Seems like it has potential to be a good store but is woefully lacking in customer service. I do not recommend visiting, your time will be wasted.
  • The poor reviews are accurate. The staff is not friendly and treats you like you're an idiot. They display a lack of customer service and empathy toward an unfamiliar new gun owner. I'm a pro gun enthusiast with limited knowledge as are many interested people but for some reason this gun shop does not understand this. They should be luring novices into gun shops to feel comfortable, they should readily and enthusiatically look to educate and inform, and they should conduct business with the intent of building up clientele. Apparently they don't seem to instill business acumen to the "pistol packing Wyatt Earps" at the counter. Can't wait for the new Armory to open up in town!
  • I don't get why the reviews are so negative? Everyone was very nice and helpful. One guy was kind of quiet but he did not have an attitude about it or anything. Just his personality I guess. Plus they were less than an hour from closing and we all know how that is. Wide selection of quality firearms and accessories as well as items for those of us in a budget. I wish they had more bulk ammo options but other than that I can not complain. Will definitely come back. Can't wait to get on the range and test out some long guns I am considering adding to my collection.
