  • This was a wonderful animal encounter experience. First, there are zoo-like exhibits of a variety of goats, pigs, turkeys, pheasants, lemurs, kangaroos, and parrots. The animals are all very close, an...  more »

  • I won't lie, this was peculiar. I did not feel right about walking through these people's home, so I only let my kids go in to get a cookie. The family was very nice. You don't have to do this part. T...  more »

  • This place is a true gem in Amish country! The variety of animals and things to see and do is amazing. You would normally have to go to a zoo to see giraffes and other African animals, but you can't get up close there. This farm allows you to either drive your car or ride a wagon throughout the property and you can feed the animals yourself. It is a very unique experience that I would recommend for both children and adults.
  • Really cool place that the kids and adults loved! A great variety of animals that seem to be well cared for. It's also a nice walk through the farmhouse and grounds with lots of things to see.
  • One of the most exciting field trips ever! Enjoyment for all ages. Great to be up close with the animals. Visiting the Amish community was an eye-opener for my toddler and teenage grandchildren.
  • The most fun I have had in a long time. Great place to relax and leave your troubles behind. You can choose the wagon ride for a few dollars more or to take you personal vehicle through. I choose to take my own through so I could enjoy it at my own pace. With slight caution, you can get up close and personal with the animals. The Llamas were a joy to feed, as were the Giraffe because seriously, when was the last time you had the chance to pet a Giraffe? My highlight was with the Scotch Highland Cattle. This big baby thought he was a lap dog. At the very end is an Ostrich. Have some caution around this one, neat to look at but he/she likes to nip at you. I want to go back someday for the sleigh ride during the winter. Bring a camera and capture memories. I'll post some photos; only a small fraction of the amount I took for that day. You can round out your day with great mood food at the Der Dutchman right down the road. You don't have to take my review seriously, go see for yourself what you have been missing. :-)
