  • Nice winery with knowledgeable, friendly staff. This was our first winery stop on the way up the peninsula. We tasted and found a few we liked but I decided to wait on buying since we had just arrived...  read more »
  • My wife and I love this place. We can't say a single thing negative about it. Great selection of wine and ports. The servers are knowledge and helpful. The one employee that stands out the most is Jef...  read more »
  • Enjoyed our visit Music Thursday Sunday. Now located at 3017 Enterprise Rd. Large selection of California Grapes produce here in Sturgeon Bay as well as Door County Wines.
  • Average selection, poor staff, uncomfortable experience. We were greeted when we got inside, then you had the choice to buy from their selection or do a wine tasting. We did the wine tasting. 5 one oz. pours for $5. When sampling, we were given no help on deciding what wines to sample. Worker did not ask what types of wine we usually drink, to help us see which of their wines we may like. Worker made NO CONVERSATION at all during the entire time of our tasting. She just stood behind the bar. I wasn't even finished with a sample, and I was already being asked what wine off my list I wanted next. This made us feel pressured and rushed our experience. This went on the whole time we were there. Once we finished all 5 samples, we were asked if we wanted to purchase any bottles of wine. No questions were asked about how we liked the wines. If we didn't like one at all we weren't offered suggestions/given a different wine to try. All in all, staff is not friendly, staff does not know how to have conversations with customers, wine selection is small and very overpriced. The only good thing about this place was the band playing in the sitting area, and a clean interior/winery.
  • We had stopped in with no expectations and were so pleasantly surprised with the time we had. Peg, our server was so helpful and made our experience nice and relaxing!!
  • I live up here in Door county and when I have friends or family visit, I take them to the Red Oak Winery. I was introduced to their Gewurztraminer wine and now have a new favorite. A friendly staff and knowledgeable about their products without being pushy.
  • Red Oak's wines are just ok and I have had better in Door County. I have been trying to stop my wine club membership with them for 3 months now and can't get them to answer the phone. This is how they keep you hostage in their club. I wish they would answer the phone.
  • Hands down, best wine and service of all the wineries in ️Door. Jeff in particular is who made the experience. They may have he most expensive wine, but it's also the best, imo. Just wishing we had bought more bottles now..after finding out that the cheaper wine at ️Door Peninsula winery in Carlsville is owned by the same person who also owns Shipwrecked, (terrible tasting beer), Fat Louie's Oil Co, and Juniper Gin Joint in Fish Creek.. No wonder the wine is cheap, they are ROLLING in cash for the prime locations of their gimmicky ventures.
