  • Sports and nature in one tidy package at this location. Plan a three mile loop in the Preserve Land to the southeast of the park. Look for a few snakes and maybe a cayman in the Lost River banks. Then...  more »
  • We got lost! The signs for the walking trails are not that great. We wound up on the bike trails and couldn't find our way back. It was scenic but a long walk. We started to get a little worried but f...  more »
  • Halpatioke Regional Park is much more than the ball fields, roller hockey rink and picnic areas. There are miles of hiking trails through pine flat woods, as well as miles of off road bicycling trails...  more »

  • This park has it all! Aside from the sports venue and picnic pavilions we love to use the extensive trails along the river for hiking. There is access to hidden lakes where we've gone fishing and kayaking - peaceful, quiet, and serene. The mountain bike trails are FABULOUS. Almost 8 miles of trails with something for the beginner to expert. All of the trails are well marked and there is a handy map at the trailhead.
  • Great park with many uses. New covered playground for the kids, great paved and unpaved walking paths, baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, pavilions etc. Great place to spend the day.
  • Wonderful hiking trails. Canopy covers most of the trail as you walk along the Lost River. Pet friendly too. Also have an 8 mile trail bike course. Great for beginners
  • Great park to walk and take your kids to. Very clean well maintained park.
  • Halpatiokee is a park that has something for everyone. Soccer, baseball, softball, kick ball, tennis, pickleball, roller hockey, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding on the lakes and the southfork of the St. Lucie River. Mountain biking for beginners to intermediate riders (nothing too technical). And hiking. There are pavilions and picknick tables to handle anything from a family picknick to a large event. This includes a large screen enclosed pavilion. There are large open areas where I've seen frisbee, RC airplanes and drones. Great place to visit! There is no visitor center, so for additional info visit the Martin County website. Also, additional information on the mountain bike trails can be found at AirborneMTB club website.
