  • The mountain is stunning. Staff is good. The lodge, however, is sub par. If you pay between 500-800 a night you expect superior service. If I wanted to stay at a Motel 6 I would've saved hundreds of.....  more »
  • One of the best ski in, ski out places ever. It was easy to get around and very interesting. I loved it.  more »
  • Expensive but worth it. Nice to have some of the amenities such as fine dining, excellent service, and a variety of activities right on the premises. I am usually a pretty thrifty skier but sometimes....  more »

  • This is the finest ski area in the East, no question. The trail management is first class and the trails include a wide range of skier levels. The staff are friendly and competent. The food is good but not overpriced. Signage is clear. Apres ski options are numerous in the Stowe village for adults and children.
  • So much fun and a wide variety of trails! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Rentals were fairly quick and had lots of sitting space to put on. Equipment seemed to be in very good condition.
  • Vail owned but local kindness - I forgot my gloves and went to see if I could borrow some from lost and found. It was locked but a very kind woman from the ticket desk offered to lend me her personal gloves. That kind of trust and kindness is beyond excellent service. and... the skiing was excellent even though it had rained the night before - spring-like groomed trails.
  • On October 5, 2019 we celebrated our daughters wedding at the resort. WOW, what a spectacular event made possible by the outstanding team of Deb, Kristin and Chris. It was their noticeable personal interest in every detail of the day that made it such a huge success. The combination of a stunning venue, warm & attentive service, and delicious food that was enjoyed by all our guests was the recipe for a perfect day. We will forever be thankful!
  • One of the best places to ski on the East Coast! Variety of trails for all levels is skiers. Gondola ride and trails from there were my favorite and highlight of the trip
