  • One of the best places on the UCONN campus, the Dairy Bar makes its ice cream with milk from their own cows. The flavors are numerous, but Husky Tracks is the best...in my opinion! They also have sund...  more »
  • Best ice cream ever! So nice to get some cones and walk down and visit the dairy cows on horse barn hill.  more »
  • Hands down, this is the best ice cream I have ever had. The setting is delightful. You round the bend in the road and you can smell the cows. You can't get fresher ice cream than that. The toasted alm...  more »

  • Good New England ice cream! I suffered through 10 years of living in Georgia. It's wonderful to be back where ice cream is worth eating. Flavors change for the season but they keep some standbys. You can buy half gallons for $8 - give 24 hours notice and they'll pack any flavor you want!
  • Absolutely love all the flavors they have. One of the best ice creams I have ever had. I would love to see them make Pistachio which for some reason has been discontinued, perhaps its one of those seasonal flavors.
  • The coffee to me was the best flavor. I enjoyed that you could see into a small bit of the process in the creamery. Unfortunate because of construction it was hard to find the way in. Still 5 stars
  • Awesome ice cream. So creamy good! Any trip to the northeast corner of CT necessitates a visit. And the surrounding scenery is spectacular.
  • Really good ice cream, albeit on the higher price bracket. Parking is limited, and they stay very busy - but they are well staffed and have mastered serving large groups of people so the lines stay short. The surrounding agricultural college is a very nice place to spend the day and enjoy nature. UCONN opens their cow and horse barns to the public if the family wants to visit the animals.
