Winery / Vineyard
Delve into the wine-making process at Becker Vineyards, a working facility where you can also indulge in the finished products. Housed in a 19th-century farmhouse originally built by German immigrants to the area, today the winery features an array of French-style varieties and blends. Join a guided tour of the vineyard to learn about the development and techniques of the industry, the grapes themselves, and the estate grounds. Explore the complex, including storage rooms, barrels, and, of course, the tasting room, where you can sign up to have a sip of the end result. Alternatively, just order a glass, kick back, and enjoy a gourmet meal at the on-site restaurant. • This was my go-to winery because it got such good reviews. The six wine options that I chose were good, but at $20, it was pricey. A complimentary wine glass with the Becker Vineyards logo was include...  more »
  • We hired a driver and left it up to him to take us to wineries that had drier wines (not sweet.). We paid $20 for 6 tastings at Becker. They let us share each. We liked all of the wines we sampled. Al...  more »
  • Very nice place, but it was crowded and loud on a Saturday afternoon. They didn't have nearly enough help for so many patrons. The wine tasting was fine and they have some really nice white sweets, wh...  more »

  • Good wine but felt like I was being rushed through my tasting by an abrupt tall red headed girl who was all business whenever we arrived. Wished that we had shown up 5-10 minutes later so we could have someone else wait on us during our tasting but felt it would have been rude to ask for someone else. Really felt like the unnamed employee was more concerned about shuffling us along and 'how busy it was' at 11:00 than actually being friendly and someone who was passionate about a customers wine tasting experience. Love the product here but my experience with the customer service wasn't great for my visit today.
  • We came here as part of a tour on my bachelorette party. India provided a private tasting for us! She was super friendly, gave us a good education about each wine, and had great suggestions for what each person might like based on their pallet. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! Such a fun place to grab a glass and explore! We had a blast and would definitely recommend!
  • The staff are nice and the reserve wines are good. The 3 stars is for the numerous times my feet got stepped on by the heavy traffic and lines. I would highly recommend doing the full tour and tasting offered, but it's not a location I would visit multiple times.
  • The staff here wasn't friendly at all. We went in today hoping for a better experience. But after reading the reviews of others it seems like we weren't the only ones to have issues with your staff. It was late afternoon on a Monday and there weren't that many people there. However, the staff rushed us and I felt judged by saying no to your pricey wine tasting fee of $15 per person. I have been to many wineries in the Hill Country and your winery has the least friendly staff. You have lost my business and if you keep the staff you have around much longer you'll lose more than just my business. Folks, their wine is decent but you can literally get the wine at any HEB and you sure as hell shouldn't have to pay $15 for a tasting.
  • This is hidden place! I went there with my family and surprised the winery has big building and many staffs. The staff helped wine tasting was very kind. I really like the big patio. July is hot season but if u go there at opening time, you can enjoy cool wind in the back.
