  • A must see with such amazing history. Norman Rockwell is so much more than most people think. Disappointing that his workshop only opens in the summer. Must see.

  • Be sure to go the basement to see all his Sat. Even. Post covers. Good to also see the Wyeth Center in Rockland, ME to compare the work of Rockwell and Wyeth. Both great illustrators. Be sure to carefully study Rockwell's famous cover art of the black school girl being protected by 4 US Marshals. Great history. Take time to see his studio and the grounds.
  • Having grown up with Saturday Evening Post and Look magazine covers, I was TOTALLY blown away by 320 of them on the walls of this fantastic museum. Listening to the Docent give us a brush-by-brush biography of a dozen or more of Rockwell's most famous paintings opened an entirely new chapter in the life of this incredible American Icon. Who knew he painted John Wayne AND Frank Sinatra???
  • Beautiful presentation of iconic Norman Rockwell's career as an illustrator and painter of everyday Americana. Not to be missed. Visit tge quaint town of Stockbridge while you're there.
  • Wonderful museum for Norman Rockwell! I learned a lot of new things about Norman and I had a great time!
  • Worth a visit at least once a year for the new illustrator exhibits, a walk around the grounds, and an ever-growing appreciation of Norman Rockwell. Bonus points if you meet a local in the Berkshires who was a model, then find their print!
