  • This is a very nice beach lots of sand and calm water. I am sure it would be crowded on weekends. Of course getting here involves driving very winding roads.  more »
  • I love, love, love this beach and the surrounding community! It's a place where I once spent lots of time and now I daydream about returning. I only get back there about every three years, but it's al...  more »
  • Went here with my pal, Margie, and her baby J. It felt as if I hadn't left home (Chicago) due to the high wind. Nonetheless, I had a looong walk on the beach, absorbed some Vitamin D and did a quick p...  more »

  • Beautiful beach, surrounded by gorgeous homes and dog friendly. Clean sands, great restaurants and bars. Great place for people watching and relaxation. Waters are freezing no matter what time of the year, but the views are amazing. Safe, peaceful and lovely. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended.
  • Great beach to relax at. It can get very crowded though. Parking can also be a bit tricky as the parking lots fill up quickly.
  • Nice long beach, partially dog friendly, quaint little beach town, beach park with lots of parking, fabulous on the beach Siren Cantina!
  • We hit this place upon our bicycle tour 2005. We risked a swim in the shallow waters... On a hot summer day, it can get crowded and all legal parking lots are gone...
  • great beach, huge area to spread out. parking lots are all ruined. dont bring a lowered or sport car here, you will regret it. the potholes, insane speed humps, and lack of this lots full signs can lead to idiots panicking and driving like a tidal waves about to hit.human trash is commonly left on the beach and in the parking lots. bathrooms are nasty and lack soap on our last visit. i will say this.. the beach would be a 4 or 5 star BUT.. the bikers that ride the roads in and out will make any driver a nervous wreck. cyclists use the full road as they see fit, and mind no traffic laws. cyclists treat the road as if its a bike trail. we almost ran a cyclist over as his foot slipped off the pedal while going uphil, he feel off and i swerved at the last second to avoid hitting him. something must be done to stop the bikers. they must be banned from this road. its a matter of safety. cars can barely drive it safely alone, let alone with bikers tying things up.
