A historical treasure trove of signicant artifacts. Impossible to appreciate in just one visit. Everytime I return I see many things I missed before. Excellent representation of life in the late 1700's. Also includes some coverage of history prior to and after the fort's existence. Knowledgeable & helpful staff.
It's a fun educational experience that tell the story of how steubenville impacted the western movement of are country. Plus the seasonal event like the nut cracker village during the holidays is a fun family activity; but at the time of my last visit the work staff could have use better connotation skill and restraint with those with special needs. But a few bad apples shouldn't stop you from visiting this location the next time your in town
Really great staff. Knowledgeable and nice.
Very well done and its historical.
The Nutcracker Village was great. A definite must do during the Christmas season if you are in the Steubenville area or returning home to see family.
