  • If your skin is dark, make sure you have a current fishing license with you all the time because one of the people that tell you to have a nice day will call the cop after all. The most beautiful day and also my best fishing day ruined because my fishing license just expired a few days.
  • Great park to take casual walks in with family, and a great place to bring your dog! The water area as well as the picnic areas are clean, which is nice. Still have more to explore in this area but my first impression is great!
  • Pretty nice walking paths, though they can get a bit muddy (to be expected a day or two after rain). Free parking is an added benefit. Also have cottages along the Potomac you can rent.
  • Nice park that is often forgotten. The fields stay a wet for a while after rain, but still a cool, hidden place.
  • Great park - can get a little busy in the summer
