  • This is a fabulous museum! There are artifacts and exhibits covering prehistory through contemporary times. Many items and artifacts were found locally (ie large collection of stone arrowheads) or donated by local families that show life on the prairie from homeateading times, through the various economic booms and busts. There are 17 buildings and many exhibits throughout. Cost is now only $3 per adult and well worth it at much more for the enjoyment, education, and entertainment.
  • Very good depictions of prairie life in late 1800s to early 1900s. Would be interesting for elementary age children.
