  • We love this place! We tent camp, right next to a nice spot to sit in the water and relax. The staff is always nice and check in was easy. As for the cost, we didn't think it was expensive. If you forget anything they have a well stocked store and great, clean showers. Well worth the trip!
  • I've been to a few different river resorts, but this one is by far the best. We've been going to Huzzah for years and stay in the zoo. It's always a fun float and camping experience. We got a messed up raft this past time. It was very uncomfortable to sit on a deflated raft the whole afternoon. Nevertheless, we will return next year, hoping it doesn't happen again.
  • We only rented a 4-man raft for a 6-mile float; mid-June 2016. We didn't camp out or use any other services during our visit. The online reservation system was nice, booked one week in advance. When we arrived , we checked in inside the main store. Service was quick and mostly friendly. We met 3 other employees after leaving the store and all 3 were very friendly and provided great customer service. The raft was just big enough for myself and my 11 & 13 year old boys, with just one small cooler. It was in good shape, heavy, but very durable and steady. The river was clear, cool, and high enough that we never had to drag the raft over the riverbed. It's not a big river, but we never felt crowded; it took us 4 hours to get to the 6 mile marker. That's pretty quick from what I was told--my boys didn't want to hang out on the river banks for very long. All the floaters were friendly and we never saw anyone getting crazy drunk or anything like that. I would recommend water shoes as the rocky river bed will hurt your feet--flip flops are not as good due to the current. I'm not sure how the prices compare to comparable offerings but it is probably worth looking into as I felt it was a little pricey. Recommend to anyone interested in a relaxing and easy float.
  • Great Camping and floating spot! Be careful on weekends during the summer with little one's, lots of drinking and carrying on. Week days are great for the Kiddo's and you practicaly have the river to your self. Pretty scenery.
  • I enjoyed my time at Huzzah, the camp site (loud site 2) was clean and clear of clutter or junk. Access to the site and other locations was a short gravel road away. Full restrooms and showers were available and porta pottys were spread throughout the campsite if you needed them. The float to Scotia was nice and a good amount of time. I wish the float had some indicators of your distance until finish since you had to be half way by a certain time. I would recommend to friends in the future.
