  • Horrible experience with service. The people were nice but they charge more for you to use your own kayak or canoe because "they have to unload their gear to load yours." I was left to put my own kayak on the bus and not the trailers on both shuttle rides, so I paid for service I didn't receive. Also they had people patrolling the camp grounds well past midnight shining their headlights into our campsite every hour or so. If your looking to be in nature and be left alone, do not go to this campsite.
  • We have stayed here the past two years and loved our first year. This year we thought that all the guys who work the parking lots to bus driver and the new guy who checks the camp sites were very friendly, However any time we had to go to the office we did not think the office ladies were very polite. Our paperwork was all mixed up. They even told us we had not paid for our shuttle service WHEN WE DID!! The girl who helped us did not give us our shuttle pass. If you decide to stay here just make sure you get all ur passes u paid for at the time of payment really other then that it was a good trip but not sure if we will go back again next year.
  • This is the kind of place that will overcharge you and then snicker behind your back about it. The "hotel" doesn't have the most basic things like towels, pillows or even sheets! It gets 2 stars because the grounds are okay. If you're reading this, go elsewhere.
  • We love this place! We tent camp, right next to a nice spot to sit in the water and relax. The staff is always nice and check in was easy. As for the cost, we didn't think it was expensive. If you forget anything they have a well stocked store and great, clean showers. Well worth the trip!
  • I've been staying a HV for 32 yrs and. NEVER ONCE have I ever had a problem. Their cabin's AC is HEAVEN! Kid friendly! Family Friendly! I just wish I could stay 2 weeks at a time! Thanks! I've been in tents to almost every a-frame and cabin, no to schaby. Dog friendly! Nice place to take a grandkid, or babies, to enjoy a stress free week! Book early though, it becomes harder as the days go on through the year. February, I found is the best time to get what you want..book earlt, book often. Edward R Holtz
