  • Interesting snapshot of early 20th Century America in the form of an old mining company town
  • Really great historical site.
  • It was a good look at the history of the Stearns Coal Mine and the surrounding area.
  • Nice displays.
  • The McCreary County Museum is a small museum based in an old lumber and coal mining office. Lots of items of local interest, including a small display of Cornblossom, a local legend. It's not the Smithsonian, but for a small intrance fee it is worth stopping in if you are in the area.
