  • A relaxing drive through this area and a many great hikes. Lots of different places to go to hike so not crowded this time of year.

  • This national forest is not the easiest to access but is really worth it. The views are good and the campgrounds are well maintained. 
  • I kept saying "Wow!" every 3 seconds because of how breathtakingly beautiful this area is. It was impossible to find an open campsite so we ended up driving around for quite a while to find dispersed camping. I wish we would have spent more time here, doing hikes and visiting the lakes.
