  • We had a great time playing this golf course. It is well kept, challenging, and has great service. The greens are very difficult. The views were beautiful with golden aspens all around.
  • Golf course has a 127 slope and it plays to that. Lots of places to lose balls. The back plays tougher after the first 3 holes, so don't get to excited. Overall a fun golf course with plenty of challe...  read more »
  • We played 9 at haymaker with Ann's sister and husband. This is a beautiful course at the base of Mt. Werner that is well maintained and open. The course is hilly and we dragged and pulled our push car...  read more »
  • The course layout and greens were great; however a few things were odd. I was standing in line waiting to pay my green fees when a local walked in and the pro working behind the counter waited on him before me. When it was my turn, the pro was pleasant, but never told me that a wounded animal was on the 11th hole or that wildlife devices had been called to take care of it. When we got to the hole two hours later, the wounded animal was still there and we were told we had to skip the hole out of respect for the animal. When you are paying $129 to play 18 holes, my expectation is that issue should have been addressed in a more timely manner to bring full value for what I paid for. Tom the Starter gave me a few tips that helped me navigate the course and the guys I was paired with made for an enjoyable time. I'd probably play here again if in town again, only after checking out the other options first.
  • This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I'm currently out here on a golf vacation with 5 others over the 4th of July weekend. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance for 6 green fees and 6 club rentals for x $. When we arrived to the club house, Tim Dever who was over the counter was extremely unprofessional and possibly the rudest service I have ever experienced. He told us in quote, " we don't do club rentals". While expressing our frustration he told us that they actually do rentals but they only have 6 rentals and they already rented them out this morning. I will absolutely never bring my money to this golf course and will continue to make sure people will be informed local or out of state that the course management is horrific.
  • No words can discribe the amount of frustration our group encountered at Haymaker. We booked a tee time for 6 players WITH rental clubs weeks in advance. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Tim Dever and were initially told by him that they didn't rent clubs?? He told us that in the two years he worked there he had never once rented clubs. We questioned Tim as to why we were quoted a price with rentals when in reality they didn't have them. Tim then changes his answer and tells our group that they DO have 6 rental sets but they are all rented on the course. Understanding that Tim was in fact lying to us, we asked to speak to a manager. Tim simply handed us a business card and instructed us to call him. He never once owned up to the miscues and never once apologized for the inconveniences he caused our group. Customer service is all about problem solving and making the experience enjoyable for the people who pay for your services. Avoid this facility and do not under any circumstances give them your money. Terrible management and even worse customer service.
  • We were disappointed in every respect of the customer experience we received at Haymaker. Three weeks in advance a reservation was made in our name for club rentals and a round. Upon arrival we were quoted a price higher than what had been provided to us (in writing) for our reservation, as well as being told the club rentals weren't available for our group. We were denied any legitimate reason as to why the reservation we made in advance would not be honored that day. The management failed to rectify and take responsibility for their error.  Because of our experience we would not recommend bringing your business here. Vote with your dollars to a service provider that demonstrates the ability to follow through with their obligations and customer service.
  • Mud on the ball in late July, and not from rain? No staff on the course to promote a reasonable pace. 2:20 for 9? Green side mowing at 2pm? Range balls from the late 80s? Pull cart came over on the Mayflower. No starter in sight, wasn't even offered a scorecard. Highlight was a very attentive server in the restaurant that looked like it was decorated in the southern bigot motif. No wonder there were so few cars in the lot. Pity, property has potential.
