  • It was truly lovely. Short jaunt up the overlook trail but the lower trail is a little harder. Scenery stunning
  • The waterfall was pretty. We were able to go sit down by the water after we hiked up the mountain. Great photo opp
  • I just went to the bottom Falls which is only about a quarter mile hike. It was definitely worth it the waterfall is beautiful and the nearby stream is also a great site. If I would have had more time I would have gone to the second Falls or even maybe the lake. I would definitely recommend it to anybody in Steamboat Springs.
  • Beautiful spot, easily reachable. The overlook walk is .25 miles while a hike to the base of the falls is just .20 miles but steeper. The upper parking was full, so we parked at a lower lot an additional .5 miles walk away, you can also park on the street. Entry is $5 per car, free with a National Parks pass.
  • Great to hike as far as you like. Most people look at the first falls, but I strongly recommend heading up to the second (2.5 miles). Fantastic views of the valley not too far up!
  • It's a nice place, was a good hike but better in fall. In the end you can find another water fall.
  • This is a great hike! The lower falls a short down hill hike from the parking lot. The upper falls is a pretty strenuous hike but totally with it. There is a fee to get in. $5.00 Cash or check. Or you can use your national parks pass.
