  • Since the day was hot, we took the easy path to the overlook. The falls were roaring. There were a few trails to choose from. We took the shortest one and enjoyed the view without any work.  more »

  • This is a must see in Steamboat Springs! We go every time we're in town and it never gets old. There's a paved path that would be easily accessible for the average stroller or wheelchair, as well as dirt paths to get to the falls. We love to climb down the embankment and explore the large rocks along the riverbank. There are also advanced hiking trails that lead to the upper reservoir if you're able to make the trek. We've been with kids as young as 8 months and everyone always has the best time.
  • It's a must see! Two trails offered. One is easy and concrete for those that needs a safe walk. The other trail down to the bridge is fairly easy. We didn't go any further due to my restrictions.
  • I loved Fish Creek Falls because it offers beautiful scenery and a variety of trails. There are easy, moderate and more challenging hikes all with beautiful views. The waterfall is stunning and easy to view from many areas. You can enjoys views of the falls from far away or walk almost right up to the falls. I enjoyed hiking Fish Creek Falls very much.
  • Beautiful spot right outside town! Only about 10 minutes from there middle of Steamboat. The upper viewing area is great if you don't really want to "hike". There lower trail leads to the bridge and it's a bit more of a hike, but still very accessible and not challenging. This spot can get pretty busy midday.
  • This is a great paved nature walk for anyone with small children. I would recommend going early because it definitely gets crowded especially along the overlook path and picnic path t Which is also short and doable but not paved like the overlook path). We felt like we were out in nature and able to enjoy the falls without doing an overly aggressive climb
