  • We hit four or five casino's in South Tahoe, spent five bucks in each one, had a lot of fun but no outstanding wins. I play the real simple keno machine and can make five dollars last an hour or more....  read more »
  • After arriving late the night of 8/30/16, my party quickly went to sleep in room 423. Upon waking the next morning, we found there was a stain that looked eeriely like blood on our sheets that did not originate with any one in our party. Even if it was not blood, (ketchup, maybe) the fact that was there at all is greatly disturbing because it means the sheets were either reused from a previous guest without washing or they weren't washed properly or the stain was somehow overlooked on white sheets. How a sheet stained in such a manner was overlooked is beyond me and makes me wonder what other steps in the cleaning process may have been overlooked. The stain was brought to the attention of the front desk; however, they advised they were not empowered to do anything about it but did give my party an email address to send our complaint to. I don't expect anything to come from it though and I'm disappointed in the whole situation. The whole thing made me really uncomfortable and I'm not sure if I'll ever use a Hard Rock Hotel again.
  • The service was horrible. There was no mention of construction on the pool when we booked the room. It took one hour to get my food from room service. They need to revamp the place, and get organized or sale the place. This stay was very disappointing to me and my family. They need to do a episode of undercover boss so the ownership can see how this place is just falling apart. Good luck with future endeavors Warner Hospitality.
  • I was on level 8 with a two family members. The service was overall pretty good, although when we booked there was no mention of pool construction, one of the main points of going to hard rock. Also the rooms don't have a whole lot of space to put things and no outside food. A small game room strictly prohibiting all minors.
  • Comfortable bed, smaller room and bathroom. I booked my room on Expedia, where you pay for your room and taxes, then you have to pay $22 for resort fee. When I got to the hotel, the front desk charged me $25 for resort fee +taxes. I understand they charge taxes for your room, but additional taxes for their resort fee? Just include in your resort fees, and stop overcharging people for nonsense. Your $25 resort fee pays for Internet, newspaper, phone call and fitness. I didn't see any newspapers. Phone calls where? Everyone has a cell phone nowadays. Fitness, I'm sure not too many people come to Tahoe to use fitness at the hotel. When I'm in Tahoe, I go hiking, kayaking. So you pretty much paying for slow Internet $25 per day, that's sad. At least offer some spa/steam room.
  • Checking in, the rep walked away with no explanation, when he returned, he ignored me and helped two other groups of guests before returningto complete my check in. We were not given the room with two queen beds we had reserved, instead we were told we would be given a roll away bed, and they weren't even sure they could do that (although aanager looking person stated he would make sure we got it). It took more than an hour to get the bed for our child. When we got to the room, it was clean. We were told the room service menu was on the TV, however there was no remote for the TV. Called housekeeping and they said they would get one to us but never did. Overall, while the room was clean, the service was terrible. They seemed to be understaffed and overworked for a Saturday night.
