  • Stopped in the museum during our visit with our son yesterday. I'm not big on museums but my husband enjoys them. I must say I was happy we went in. There are many beautiful pieces of art in there. Up...  read more »
  • I regret that I did not visit the Palmer Museum while a student at PSU. Admission is free, and there are some wonderful exhibits. The space is quiet and inviting. There is a small gift shop as well.
  • The museum has a good variety of art on display. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was fortunate to see the exhibit "Still Moving: Photographs by Steve McCurry." I would definitely recommend visiti...  read more »
  • A wonderful place for art and culture. Watch out for nudity paintings. If you are there on a tuesday or a friday (2-5pm) talk to the missionaries that stand outside who share a wonderful message.
  • Nice to get out of the heat and see some art. I took my parents here who really enjoyed it. I have spent many hours here on multiple occasions and they continue to vary their outstanding exhibits.
  • Small art museum on campus. It's free for everyone! You can come and enjoy arts during free time here.
  • Sort of a hidden gem on the Penn State campus. Not huge, but an interesting collection, well worth a visit. Usually has one or two special exhibits running, so worth coming back every few months. Admission is free.
  • It is a free small two-storied art museum on the Penn State (PSU) campus. Part of the exhibit they rotate pretty frequently--about once a month? Outside are some sculptures, so, winter is probably not the best time to view those. Bold exterior. Features a small gift shop. To get there the CATA buses on-campus are free. Parking I have no idea. My guess is parking is easier on the weekends or when the students are gone.
