  • I have had the opportunity to enjoy this lovely family place. I recommend there are many spaces for different sports.  more »
  • Membership is very expensive, unless you live very close and make use of it more than a few times a week.  more »
  • Here is the email I received from a membership advisor after I explained to him that I had been bulk emailed 6 times in a week and half. I had also been reached out to by four different people in 3...  more »
  • I've been a member here for many years, it's a very nice facility. Customer service for members isn't as good as it used to be. The gym instructors are very good.
  • Great place but the people make it better. I started going to the piers with the kids for their activities. Finding myself wondering around (because you could only do so much watching and walking) I inquired about a membership for myself for the Athletic Club. There I met Greg Yance. Talk about over the top awesome. He answered all my questions, concerns, gave me 1 on 1 advice and then some. The classes, locker room, gym equipment, quiet rooms, lounge area, so clean. Every-time I go I find something new. I'm like a kid in a candy store. Only, this time I can look and touch.
  • Tennis Without a doubt Chelsea Piers has the best facilities in the area and probably the entire region. I am a tennis player who really enjoys the quality of good courts and whenever I am at Chelsea Piers I am satisfied with not only the excellent courts, but the service and coaching as well. This is an excellent facility to play at and the coaches and staff are quick to help you, if it's a bad forehand, or booking a lesson.
  • in advance this review only applies to the Gymnastics Dept. my child has been enrolled in the gymnastics program for about 2 1/2 years and this will be her last year. I myself or my husband has attended every class so I’m speaking from 1st hand knowledge! Ann as the gymnastics director is ok but it’s evident that she’s stressed and at times downright overwhelmed. She’s rarely found showing CONSISTENT interest in any other program aside from the girls in the Excel program. Even as I type this she hasn’t checked in with any of the other classes. When one is a director their presence should be felt everywhere not just in specific areas. There are different teachers weekly, now I don’t know if it’s due to call outs or what but nevertheless, when there are different teachers how can a child be developed in their week areas as the covering teacher has no knowledge of that child and their capabilities or lack there of. My daughter has been with this company as I stated 2 1/2 years and she cannot do a backflip, she still struggles on the bars and has yet to successfully complete a backhand roundhouse....why is that? I have along with other parents shared my frustrations and the expectations we have for this establishment to no avail. I commute from Monroe CT every week to Stamford for my daughter to receive subpar gymnastic instructions. Don’t get me wrong there are some amazing instructors in here that are committed and it’s evident. I wholeheartedly appreciate them and their efforts. However consistency is key here guys! In closing, when I 1st chose Chelsea piers...I picked this place thinking my child would be developed because hey, after all it is Chelsea piers and of course they’re the best right?! But after 2 1/2 years I give up because I’m fed up. It’s not cheap to send your child here...I expected more consistency, installation of values and dedication to my child and unfortunately this just isn’t the place for that.
  • Love the complex. Multi sports and coming soon indoor Golf. The facility is incredible and well worth the price if you can take advantage of everything.
