  • We did not expect something this other-worldly. People were very friendly and accommodating - we were not familiar with customs and traditions, but the members were were nice and helpful. Just off.....  more »
  • This is a beautiful Hindu temple in southwest Houston. One must visit this at least once. This has a vegetarian food shop also.  more »
  • This is a must see if in the area! The architecture is simply breathtaking. I am of a different religion so I did not enter the inside but the outside is visitor/tourist friendly where pictures are...  more »
  • Nice place to visit with family. They have a very nice park outside the temple along with a cafe and a gift shop with Indian snacks and books. The snacks are delicious and fresh. The cafe serves hot and cold food too. They also have a very pleasant environment inside the temple too. They also have a nice firework show for Indian festivals like Diwali.
  • BAPS provided catering for our wedding in the Texas Hill Country. They brought everything to the venue and it was delicious. They were very accommodating and worked with us on the timing. They also are very willing to accommodate particular dietary restrictions. Would highly recommend BAPS for anyone looking to cater Indian food for a wedding or event.
  • This place is Amazing. Totally free, but donations are welcomed. You take off your shoes before stepping in the temple, they have a locker room to place your shoes. If you are wearing clothes too revealing according to their guidelines they will ask nicely to wear a disposable hood. I did feel kind of awkward because I was touring the temple and people were praying and worshipping, I hope I wasn't disrespectful walking around and reading everything about their gods. It so beautiful, the details and marble all around. Pictures aren't allowed. I definitely recommend this hidden gem in Houston.
  • calm, place to experience spiritual enlightenment. Neatly maintained garden. Delicious food available at reasonable price at the canteen. Reasonably priced take away sweets and others at the shop in the temple. The carvings are great in marble. A must visit place.👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏
  • Beautiful place! Their architecture is breathtaking and just amazing. Dave, one of the volunteers, gave us information about the temple and a small talk about their religion and exhibitions. Really liked that they have a small cafe with treats and a small exhibit that explains more about the temple & Hinduism.
