  • Found serenity in this place. Enough foot traffic to feel a sense of security without at all becoming overwhelmed by tourists.  more »

  • Outstanding place to enjoy nature and relax. Bring your camera for many photo opportunities. See alligators, turtles, snakes, birds, armadillos, frogs, insects, trees and many other things. Hike the hammock trail for quiet back to nature experience. Or climb the 2 story tower for a view of the lake and it's inhabitants. Hang out on 1 of 3 bridges and watch the fish and turtles swim by. Come once.....you will bring someone back to show the place off.
  • Wonderful, beautiful park. Great trails of varying lengths; you can pick and choose for a quick walk or much longer. Abundant wildlife! Every time we go we see a new mix of animals from alligators to armadillos and gopher tortoises to baby birds. One of our favorite true Florida parks!!
  • Great park, fun to walk the planks and see wild life. Do not bring peanuts, animals at this park are aggressive with feeding, just so u parents know that. Bring a water bottle, since it goes pretty far out there.
  • Beautiful place to go for a nice walk and view nature. Plenty of shade and a nice area to view the lake from. The only thing I didn't much care for is the dirt trails. There were so many exposed roots and holes you couldn't safely walk while looking around, I had to constantly look down and it took away from enjoying the view and animals. But overall is a nice place, but I would keep to the boardwalk.
  • Really great place for picnics and general sight-seeing! My family and I went here and had a fun time walking and looking at all the wildlife
