  • We came across this while exploring the St. Pete's Beach area. It was just what we were looking for. It was a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. My 12 year old girl and 10 year old boy really...  more »

  • Great park in St Pete! The boardwalk winds all the way through what feels like an actual swamp, I think another reviewer mentioned it is a mile long? It's a nice boardwalk! This park is right next to Hwy 275, but you feel like you've escaped into a piece of nature outside the city. There is a cool overlook tower off one side of the boardwalk. Nice view of the lake with some shade and seating for a quick rest. Lots of animals! I've seen gators, turtles, armadillos, possums, raccoons, and lots of cool birds. There are always people out here with binoculars and cameras doing their bird watching thing. Dogs are not allowed on the boardwalk, but I've seen people on there w/ dogs anyways. There is a nice sidewalk to walk your dog that runs alongside the front of the boardwalk though. Also, there are some pretty butterfly bushes at end of sidewalk in the park. If you are there at the right times/season, you can walk through the bushes and be surrounded by butterflies! It's gorgeous!
  • Awesome place to walk around and spot nature. Kids love it and will wear then out as well LoL
  • This is a great park to visit. The trails are great and the wild life you see is fantastic!
  • People let their dogs run loose, and I stepped in it. You have to really watch your step, and they come up and sober on you. If you are afraid of dogs not for you.
  • It's a good park for walking, the tower is nice. It seemed to me smaller that you would expect. If u wanna take the PSTA to get here let me tell you is a long ride & walk 😂😂
