  • We loved this museum. I was unaware that glass could be used in such diverse applications. We loved the layout and the staff was great. Highly recommend  more »
  • Great museum, great people, great items, great toilets. They sometime only charge $5 instead of $15 if you can plan on attending that day.  more »
  • We probably wouldn't have checked this place out had a storm not rolled in, causing us to look for something sheltered to do. So glad it worked out as it did because this place is awesome! Loved all.....  more »

  • The best museum is St Pete! Galleries are diverse and there is a lot to see! The museum is in above perfect condition, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Admission pricing is very reasonable and they have specials as well. The layout is organized to take you through different periods of glass art and displays are just so beautiful. I am truly at a loss of words after visiting this museum. My only comment would be to make the volume in the theater a little bit louder because videos are engaging but you can’t hear what they are saying when AC kicks in
  • This was my first visit. Staff was welcoming. Seemed like a museum less travelled. Good location. Clean. Although it was a glass museum it didn't feel like you had to be crazy cautious. There was enough space to manuever and enjoy the galleries with other patrons. Nice gift shop as well. Good day date stop or family day location.
  • Fantastic museum and really fun to explore. We were looking for an indoor activity to beat the heat and this was the best way to spend a couple of hours. There were lots of exhibits and I was fascinated by the intricacy of all of the glass work. I loved all of the little note cards in each room, a nice personal touch. Museum is way bigger than it looks from the outside. Pleasantly surprised. There was a kimono exhibit on display when we visited - very cool! Highly recommend if you haven't been. Staff were friendly from the lady at the counter to the security guard on duty when we were there. I took some out of town guests here and they were impressed. So now I know where I am taking any future out of towners when they visit!
  • There is a nice permanent collection of glass art by a decent variety of artists. A medium I feel that is often overlooked in museums of fine art. The rotating collections upstairs are awesome — it’s not just a couple pieces in a tiny room — it’s a full multi room tour with multiple artists and just as good as the first floor. The staff is very friendly and it was nice to be able to park there instead of parking and walking.
  • Awesome and worth a visit over and over. Amazing collections of glass and mixed medium pieces. We spent 2 hours and feel like we definitely need to go back frequently to absorb the beauty and skillful creations by local and international artists. Plan on taking your time, you can get up close to the many pieces they have on display as long as you don't touch! Photos do not do justice to any of the pieces, you MUST see them in person! $5 for Thursday nights after 5pm. Otherwise worth the price of regular admission for sure. Ample parking in back lot or on street. Nice gift shop, saw some beautiful glass jewelery, hand blown glass items and kids items. Cool collection of glass marbles for sale. Don't miss when in St. Pete! I'm a local so am happy to recommend this museum!
