  • Our family LOVES this place! When I was a kid I went to Great Ex, of course it was at a different address back then and different exhibits, but it made such an impression that when I had my daughter I couldn't wait to take her. They had tot classes once a week for small kids gets them signing songs, playing instruments and socializing with other kids if they are not in day care. Then from 2 to 5 years they have day care thru VPK. Their program is well rounded and very rich in insurrection. I was amazed when my 3 year old could name all of the planets and told me it didn't snow in Florida because we were too close to the equator...all stuff she learned while attending day care here. She's 6 now, in 1st grade in the gifted program, I believe all because of the great head start she got here. They have after school programs, summer programs and my favorite is Parent's Night Out once a month. They watch you kid from 6-10pm for $25 - 35 (depending on membership) so you can have a night out. I think we'll be regulars until she out grows the place. Their age range is from toddler to around 10. Their exhibits change pretty frequently, so it's always fun for kids.
  • Great Explorations is an awesome place to beat the heat, stay out of the rain or avoid any other 15 minutes of inclement weather Florida throws at you. Kids have to play and explore, GE, has the space and resources for the little ones to do it all! I have seen a lot of improvement to an already great place over the past year and look forward to renewing our annual membership.
  • Children were occupied for hours and didnt want to leave. Great amounts to discover learn and play.... Children xan be there from open to close and not get bored. Awesome! Very accomodating for birthday parties and a fantastic face painter.
  • This was a neat place with a lot for the kids to do. Be sure to check if they accept reciprocal memberships to a children's museum near you. It's in a building with carrabas Italian food and a garden so you have to look at the soon carefully. The kids had a blast. It easily entertained them for several hours with all there was. They had a news anchor area, firefighter area, grocery store, and a good assortment of crafts. There's also a touch tunnel where you crawl in the dark feeling different textures.
  • Great place for children. Tons of activities. I really like the layout (big and open). The toddler area was closed for the first hour and and 20 min due to cleaning. I feel like they need to do this after hours.
