  • Don't wait for a rainy day to visit this little treasure on Pass-a-grille. They have a limited summer schedule (May-October). Researchers and graduate students can make an appointment to get into the archives which abound with great material about all of Pinellas County's gulf beaches. The volunteer culture is rich and welcoming to those interested in donating time. Service learning opportunities exist for students of all ages, too.
  • Quaint little museum, great exhibits on beach history. Do check the website, they are open limited hours. Especially off season.
