  • Stayed here over Christmas 2012. Had a great time. The gulf was a little cool so if you plan to be in the water I'd go a little earlier in the year. The first room we had a problem with a noisy heat/air unit. The staff moved us to another unit without complaint. The rooms were nice sized, we were on the pool side so we had a good view of the gulf and the balcony was large enough to sit outside and enjoy a book. We ate out each night and the staff recommended some good places to eat. We'd definitely go back.
  • This hotel is not the most updated or modern, but for the price of $198 for four adults in one room, on the beach, that is a great deal in my opinion. We were able to watch the sunset from our room each night and spend relaxing time in their pool while listening to music from the tiki lounge. The drinks at their bar were also delicious. The only reason I am giving a 4 out of 5 is because one of the front desk receptionists, Nancy, was not the most pleasant woman to deal with. The first person you encounter at a resort should be welcoming and start off your vacation with a smile. Not a cold stare that made us feel like a nuisance.
  • Excellent sailing trip and you get to see dolphins as well! The crew are really informative on the local area and are really friendly. A two hour trip will cost you $35 but is worth it for the relaxing time not to mention the history lesson.
  • We stayed there one night before flying home. We had a first floor room directly on the beach with a fantastic view of the Gulf. Check-in went smoothly, the front desk staff we're polite and informative. Our room was clean and cooled nicely for our arrival. The bar was on the opposite wall of our room with a live steel drummer playing, but the room was still quiet. The music ended and 9:30pm anyways. The pool was awesome with great view of the beach and gulf from the deck. The only con I can think of is that the air conditioner in the room was fairly noisy. Just leave the fan on instead of auto and you'll get use to the noise for sleeping instead of being woken up by the fan cutting in. Overall an awesome location. I would definitely stay there again.
  • Perfect access to the beach, and our room was very clean. We stayed 2 nights and loved it! The pool was awesome, and the bar had great drinks. I would highly recommend this place to all of my family and friends, especially for the great price compared to the nearby hotels.
