We were staying at a apartment at the beach and were very happy with this shopping center opposite the beach. It has a large Publix, Dollar Tree and CVS pharmacy
Publix grocery store- all the staples you need for the beach, Chic Fil A, Dippin Dots, gift shops, etc...
We use the Dolphin Beach Resort as a summer camp for High School students at my church. The resort is awesome and very reasonable for us despite our large presence. They do a good job at keeping our students separate from the rest of the guests to make sure we don't disturb them. The rooms are nice, nothing overly fancy, the service is prompt and friendly, and the pool is pretty nice.
DON'T STAY HERE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !! Room 132 doors didn't lock to outside. Site says WiFi........... Hmmm that's a joke we stayed a week and could not connect for more than a minute with a blink of signal. ( ALL OVER HOTEL). We booked 3 rooms from Ohio 1 1/2 months in advance and was told not a problem for 3 rooms on ground floor cause that's what we paid for and next to each other. WELLLLLLL that didn't happen either. My mom and dad were on 2nd floor on complete opposite side of hotel, when asked we asked Donna ( Winning personality) why they said that and didn't, her response was ummm can't tell you it's first come here. So buyer beware!! No point in booking early ! Hell no point in even booking here. My wife and kid got stuck in a horrible rain storm on beach and came in hotel to the fire alarm blaring and flashing and they were soaking wet. My wife took a towel and got scolded like a 4 yr old child and told her " what yo mouth don't work now huh" ( exactly how was said). In other words stay away.
What a bang for your buck! If you get a first floor room facing the beach there are glass sliding doors straight to the beach!!!👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 so fun, not the newest or the fanciest but awesome! Have been twice and will return.
Stayed one night with my kids... we loved it! Great affordable oceanfront view from our balcony. Fun beach bar (Flippers) with live music. We'll definitely be back!
Could have been cleaner like all the windows for example. Nancy at front desk is rude and the manager Cindy would not call us nor contact us after there was a serious incident at the hotel. Maintenance man entered our room while we were naked and would not leave. Then they gave our room away to another client and he tried to enter our room right after maintenance man and my husband answered the door naked. They had no clue they had rented the room bc first shift messed up. Maintenance man Peter threaten to call the police on us and have us kicked out bc the room was suppose to be vacant. Nancy was very disrespectful to us and not understanding she said it was not her problem. The gentleman working with her wasn't much better but wasn't outspoken like Nancy. We asked for the manager to call us, no call and no contact at all. One night we had nowhere to park our car. There is no exhaust fan in bathroom and there is no swing latch on door. We could hear our neighbors fighting while sitting on the toilet. I read negative google reviews about management and Nancy. I do not understand why they are still working there. Someone should also speak to Peter about entering rooms that are occupied and leaving when you are asked to and not stay in the room. You may get your ass kicked the next time! I would actually like to speak to someone from the hotel who really cares and can do something about my complaint. WE WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN!!!!
