  • We had the tour through the place and winery and enjoyed it a lot. I'm not sure if we would have liked it in just the tasting room. If you can take the tour I recommend it. Dave was an awesome tour gu...  more »

  • The grounds are lovely. Some of the wines are great. They " are" the "Prisoner" and "Magnificat". However the $40 tasting is non-remarkable.  more »

  • This winery has been on our itinerary every time we come but have missed it. Made it there this week and the experience was great. Setting is beautiful, staff very friendly, wines are good. Wound up joining the club.
  • Awful wines. Unfriendly staff. Can't wait to get out of that place.
  • Traveled from Oregon and enjoyed a private tour and estate lunch. Leo Rios our wine educator introduced us to the winery, explaining the history and answering questions in an easy unhurried manner. The lunch was held in a private beautifully appointed room. The menu included dungeness crab salad with meyer lemon, hearts of palm and avocado paired with an exquisite 2015 Franciscan Equilibrium; we probably could have stopped then the flavors were so satisfying. But next was perfectly cooked beef rib eye with yukon gold potatoes and brussels sprouts accompanied by a 2008 Franciscan Stylus just sumptuous; now certainly we couln't fit another morsel in. But no to top it off a picture perfect baked Alaska with tiny spots of absolutely delectable fruit sauces, pineapple and passion fruit. Chef Brett Young visited probably to see if we were still upright. He is a master and his art is forever in our BEST EVER dining experiences.
  • My favorite winery. People working there are very nice.
  • Depends on where you are in your wine journey as to if the wines are good or not. I still like the CuvĂ©e Savage Chardonnay, the Reds were some of my favorites years ago (Magnificat) but now I prefer a more well rounded complex Cab. People are quite nice, but when they got busy due to a bus load coming in with their own glasses, we were left dry and went elsewhere.
