  • My second visit here. My kids love the gift shop and finding the hidden clues to get the pirate treasure at the end. It’s a neat place to take kids. Kind of creepy at some points, so just know some...  more »
  • We thought this Museum might be hokey but were pleasantly surprised. Masks required. Very informative. Lots of pirate lore. Plenty of interesting and well researched information. A nicely done treat.....  more »
  • Lots of pirate history, reality punctuated with a bit of fantasy. Fun 'treasure hunt' for the young ones (and the young-at-heart ones too!)  more »

  • Very informative and worth a visit if your in the area. Ideal if your children are learning about pirates as will give them a good understanding of what they did. Worth getting on one of the lead tours instead of walking around aimlessly. Little treasures map for the children to do looking for clues to get themselves a small piece of treasure at the end.
  • Better than expected! We kept passing by because the outside didn’t draw us in then decided to check it out. Once you’re past the little souvenir shop and ticket sales counter there is much to see. You can quickly breeze through and see many of the interesting things this museum has to offer or take part in the treasure hunt map and learn a lot. Our two teen boys were so into it we spent almost two hrs. inside! We had a great time and found it to be another awesome St. Augustine Adventure!
  • AMAZING! I got lost with excitement inside this museum. I did not want to leave, but unfortunately after almost two hours, my family was ready to explore more of what St. Augustine has to offer. This is a great place for family to explore and learn about pirates and the history of the town. There are a lot of cool artifacts that I’m sure you will enjoy.
  • I am a total history geek and a Pirates of the Caribbean fan. This museum was a lot of fun. It has a lot of material that covers a lot of different topics related to pirates. The museum tells the stories of specific pirates and pirates in general in a very thorough but fun way. The museum also makes learning about the pirates kind of fun. There's a lot of interactive type stuff. I am glad that the women pirates got their stories told too. My favorite Room was the end with all the Hollywood stuff and Captain Jack Sparrow's sword. An excellent indoor activity.
  • We had so much fun doing the treasure hunt, even my nineteen year old. My only complaint was that we went late and ran out of time to really appreciate pirate history the way we wanted to. So many interesting artifacts and information, lots of information to read and hands on interaction, give yourself a couple of hours to really enjoy it.
