  • Definitely go for a visit. The tour was full of rich history about how the Distillery came to be and our tour guide, Dawn was cute as a button and fun to talk to. You have an opportunity to try 4 drinks from the spirits that are produced right there in site. The Florida Mule was my fav! The gift shop is well stocked with spirits, accessories such as cups, mixers. Other items to buy like, towels, shirts, books and gift boxes. There is also a restaurant attached to the Distillery. We did not stop in, but it certainly smelled good walking by!
  • The folks here really believe in being an integral part of a community-based sustainable business practicing corporate social responsibility - and it shows in the presentation and unique distinction of their products. Their Gin will change minds and their port barrel. Bourbon and Double Barrel are beyond excellent, with subtle undertones of flavors that can only mark the taste of unique Craftsmen. Take the tour, take.a bottle or three home and come back often, not just for the ambience and taste, but to see a showcase.of a sustainable company. Hats off ladies and gents,. I'm proud to call you a hometown company!
  • If you go, please do yourself the favor of taking the tour. It's free, it's mostly air conditioned, it's incredibly informative, and you of course get to sample their whole line of spirits. Being a whisky collector and connoisseur, I came for the bourbon and was elated. I very much enjoyed all of their other spirits, and appreciated them for their quality. Being able to taste all of their spirits neat was also a wonderful offering. I will avoid my own personal tasting notes and opinions of flavor since that is subjective to each individual. What I will say however is that you would be hard pressed to find a better quality whisky made with the same care and intention that the friendly and professional staff at St. Augustine Distillery have managed to contain in a bottle. Their efforts to use only locally sourced ingredients and materials, as well as their environmentally conscious approach to production, makes them truly one of the most impressive distilleries I've ever had the pleasure of supporting. Keep up the good work and I will most definitely be looking for your fine products on the shelves in North Carolina in the future.
  • I love local distillery, wine or breweries. Always on my list of things to do when visiting is to check out the local fair. Our guide was so friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed learning about the history of preserving the building and also about the distilling process of the bourbon. Tour was great. Best of all it’s free!
  • Best distillery tour I have ever been on. Amber, the tour guide, did an amazing job explaining the history of the building and how the company started. Then showed us the magic of the production floor... All of that followed up with tasty samples and modern gift shop. And it's all FREE! It's a must see place and well worth your time.
