  • This is in no way a historic tour and is a very very sorry attempt at allowing employees to relive their glory days of wanting to be a theater performer. This was such a bad experience for our family ...  more »
  • Sheriff Jimmy was great! He was very informative and funny. I would recommend this tour for anyone if you have never been.  more »
  • Although there is some interesting history it is cramped hot and most of what you see you can read about. Nothing special that calls for spending money on. the attractions around it are typical touris...  more »

  • This was part of a package deal when we bought our Trolley Passes. We were delighted that this ended up being so much more than we thought it would be. Bucky was our tour guide, he was excellent. He kept our 9 year old daughter interested, entertained and educating her along the way as the res of the group were adults. We enjoyed the tour, Bucky was one of the best tour guides of all the we visited. Talking to him we found out more on the night time tours which my husband and I would like to do. You have half the building for the jail & kitchen and the other half the home of the Sheriff. I was taken back that it was just a simple door separating the two. They talked of how prisoners were punished, wow. How hard life was for a prisoner there. Bucky really did a great job in transporting you back to visualize how prisoners lived.
  • I always love visiting St Augustine! I've done the jail tour 4 times now, and I do enjoy it. However, I feel like they can change it up a little bit. I went there in January for the nights of lights event, and was pleased to see a priosner who actually acted out someone from the past. And I though that was a nice touch! Very cool!
  • The tour guide Dept Otas was so good! He made the tour very enjoyable. His character he play and knowledge was great! Don't know what else to say but he should get a large raise. He is good!!!
  • Neat attraction here in St Agustine with a cool story behind why it was built. The museum tour is conducted either by a shierf or a prisoner they really do stick to character. Inside is amazing and can't imagine how jails were back in the day. 4 stars: in my opinion I felt like it was too short of a tour.
  • Had a great time and my kids (Ages 4 and 7) really enjoyed it too! We all had a good time while learning something new
