  • This was the perfect backdrop with all the right spaces to make our cousin's wedding just perfect. The art is nice too, of course. If possible, it would be great if the gift shop could be expanded. Lo...  read more »

  • This is the place to see local and international art. Now is the quilt show that will blow you away. The Russian art is wonderful.
  • Had to laugh at the cranky review. It was probably written anonymously by the "artist" who was rejected for submission. He'd painted a 20" X 20" canvas in flat cobalt blue, and painted a circle dead center in slick red. When he came to pick it up, he threw a fit at Vern Swanson, the curator at the time, for not knowing "true art!" Then he made the mistake of asking all present if they liked his "work" and we all told him the truth. He stormed out so fast, he didn't notice his "price tag" had fallen off. I picked it up. He was asking $20,000 for his "masterpiece." While it is true art is subjective, SMA has some of the finest judges, jurors and buyers in the American West. Come and see for yourself the many feasts offered here for your eyes, heart and soul.
  • Foynd this nice museum because of Pokémon Go. I didn’t realize the upstairs had exhibits as well until I was already gone. I'll be back, and not just for the many PokéStops and gym (I suspect some museum employees are on Instinct and Valor).
  • Excellent museum. Features work from local and other artists. Frequent new exhibits and events to celebrate them. Live music from local artists at events, usually bluegrass, light jazz, or alternative music.
  • It is such a neat and organized art gallery. I have so many friends that have held their wedding receptions here. They are all wonderful. Night or day.
  • This is a hidden gem. Huge collection of original Norman Rockwell paintings. Many paintings by local artists. They do a wonderful job of hosting wedding receptions as well. My nephew had one there a few months ago and it turned out great. This has become a truly historical landmark in Utah County.
