  • This is one of my favorite parks in Springfield. There's a really awesome playground that has a lot of areas for climbing which is great for wearing children out! There are a lot of farm animals you can visit, too. Spring is an awesome time to visit to see all the baby farm animals. The fall festival is always a good time. Corn mazes, games, hay rides, haunted trails, and more. We go every year and always have a blast. More recently my children have participated in the farm's summer classes. They are currently doing a one week class to learn all about farm animals. They are having a great time and were so excited about getting to ride a horse! We have also hosted our girls' birthday party here. They were awesome to work with. We added the animal encounter and I was really surprised with how long they allowed each animal to be in the room. About 10 minutes per animal, so the kids really had a good opportunity to hang out and pet the animals. All in all this is most definitely a great place to visit in Springfield!
  • There is always something going on here! My son loves the animals, fishing pond, and playground. The wife and I love the walking/biking trail.
  • A great park, especially for younger kids. The only problem is there's no shade, so it can get very hot in the summer, especially at the playground.
  • Excellent place for the family and to take the kids for fun all day long.
  • They always have different seasonal activities going on. From hayrides to fishing and everything in between. My family and I love going here and playing at the Rutledge farm park.
