  • This place was really busy for a Sunday night. Not much else open in the area though. It's a cool concept but we were really disappointed in our dinner. The portion seemed really small the for price w...  read more »
  • We were in Springfield for a little getaway for our wedding anniversary. On our last night there, we went to Obed and Isaac's because it was recommended by someone we knew. There was a 30 minute wait ...  read more »
  • Only rated a 3 because the service was good. Had a beer flight and wasn't impressed. Food wasn't any better, burger was typical bar quality.
  • Not going to ramble, because I'm not that old and crotchety (yet). But after eating here for lunch, I don't plan to ever return. Our waitress, "Kyla", was awful. She knew she was giving poor service and blamed it on their small kitchen. However, I don't think you can blame a bottlenecked kitchen for not visiting our table for 15 minutes after we were seated, and generally ignoring us the whole time we were there. Honestly, by the end of the meal (in which I was brought the ever-popular "ham" horseshoe after ordering a hamburger horseshoe - it was disgusting), we felt like we were just being messed with. Which is pretty funny, I guess. Maybe I caused someone else a minor inconvenience in the past, so I had this particular WPP coming. Curse you, karma! Anyway, I don't know why this place is so busy during lunch. I get a weird vibe from it and the staff here seem shady/miserable too. Your mileage may vary.
  • They attempt to take care of their customers but they're a little slow due to the fact that this is a busy place. Oven fired sandwiches don't really appear to be oven fired. Or if they are I will just tell them to leave it in the oven a little longer next time so the cheese will be melted. Overall an awesome place, the prices are pretty good and the food is delicious. Parking is good also usually can find a spot in their blue lined spaces to the right of the building
  • Beer is the highlight here. Interesting and tasty. They also offer can growlers (which seems to be spreading) which is nice because you can stick that in the beer cellar and enjoy a month later. The food was just okay for the Wife Unit and I but much of that might be attributable to creative differences. I'd try something else before making up my mind on the food. Very busy for lunch and dinner. Go early or get on the list and be prepared to wait over an hour. We will go again when in Springfield.
  • Top notch brews. Excellent pub fair. Friendly service. Patio seating option. Crowlers to go.
  • Felt like I could have went to the freezer section at Aldi's and made my meal! Fish frozen, fries frozen, burger patty frozen. Isn't Springfield farmland???? Awful!
