  • A great tour.
  • great tour
  • Beautiful house and the tour was great.
  • Wow! The Westcott House is a really neat place to visit. The house is an absolutely beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright design from around the turn of the century. During my visit I had a great tour guide who had actually lived in the house in the 70s when it was divided into apartments. He was really knowledgeable about the house and even had a photo album of pictures from its renovations. Everyone on the staff went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. The house has these beautifully colored walls that look different in each light. There's also a lily pond out front surrounded by the traditional Wright-style urns. The tour guide spoke about Wright, the Westcott family, and all the renovations that have taken place. I left feeling very enlightened and wanting to see it again when the garden is in full bloom.
  • I've always been interested in Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, and having fallen in love with his Falling Water, I decided to give the Westcott House a try. I was blown away by the beauty of this house, especially after learning of the massive amount of work that went into returning it back to its original splendor. The tour guide was extremely informative, and was able to answer all my questions about the house, Wright, and the Westcotts. The tour was about an hour long, plenty of time to enjoy the house and learn the vast history that surrounds it. There was also a cute gift shop that had quite a few Wright inspired pieces, including jewelry and art pieces. Located in Springfield OH, it's in a nice location in between Columbus and Dayton. I really enjoyed my tour, and would recommend the Westcott House to anyone interested in architecture, history, or anyone that needs to fill a Saturday afternoon.
