  • this is especially for kids but even as an adult I had a great time. Not everything was open but the things we did were fun. we even did the dna sample.
  • I took a friend's child and my grandchildren, when they came to stay with us for a visit. The kids had the opportunity to learning without even realizing they were learning. They had so much fun, they...  read more »

  • Wonderfully fun place!! We bought a season pass for the first time this year and will continue to buy one every year from now on! We can spend 3 hours there and not even realize that much time has passed. Super cool activities everywhere and nice/helpful staff to guide you on some of it. I definitely enjoy it just as much as my 3 and 5 year old girls. And they change some of the exhibits periodically which helps keep things new and interesting.
  • Great exploratory learning center for toddlers - middle schoolers. Not just science - includes economics, theater, culture, and communication/media centers, also. The building's set-up makes it difficult to find the top floors where the biological and astro science stations and the Tour-the-World activities are located, but these are some of the best parts of the DC. Since exhibits are sponsored by local organizations, a few are getting older and need a touch up. Don't forget to check your local library branch (or Park Central branch on the Square) to see if there's a free family pass available that day.
  • This place was awesome. Very kid-friendly for the 5 and 2 year-old that I took there. They really enjoyed all the interactive hands-on activities and they probably could have played there all day. Will definitely take them back there sometime.
  • A little over-priced. But a great place to spend a few hours with the family. There are a lot of things to see and the exhibits are interactive.
  • My kids loved it and we learned some cool stuff. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They also offer a military discount. The only reason I give it 4 stars is some displays were under repair.
