  • Love going to the Discovery Center and checking out every nook and cranny of the place. My daughter's favorite part is the static globe.  more »

  • Took our 5 and 3 year olds here. Both of them had a great time and found a lot of activities that they enjoyed. The first floor is geared more towards their age group, with more physical exhibits but even the second and third floor had enough to keep them busy for a long afternoon. Not sure how much they retained but they found most of it pretty interesting. Most exhibits are in really good condition and provide a decent amount of information for young minds. Definitely worth a visit with the kids if in Springfield.
  • This is a great place to bring the family. My kids love it and I always find something new to explore. Everything is designed for interactive, hands-on learning. The life science lab has some great experiments that let your kids (or you) be the scientists. The high wire bike is awesome and worth the extra $3 (in my opinion).
  • Amazing place. Very well priced, and almost every exhibit is interactive and well designed. Hands down one of the best science centers I've been to, and way better than the STL science center for the price.
  • Discovery Center is so great! I was here for a volunteer event, and it was so much fun! The experiments throughout are engaging for children and adults alike. Plus, I think they are an important educational source for children in the community. I look forward to returning here.
  • This was so much fun for the kids (and myself) the admission prices are extremely reasonable and well worth all the interactive stations inside.
