Wet 'n' Wild SplashTown Reviews
I moved to the area 5 years ago and had no idea about the bad rep that splashtown had. I have a 3 yo and we love going there. It looks well maintained. As in every water park I have been, bathrooms ge... more »

Okay. I get you're short-staffed due to High School and College staff starting school but still no excuse for filth. It smells like one big toilet. Everyone us obviously peeing in the water. We've ren... more »
If you don't like SplashTown you probably just don't like water parks. My daughter and I have season tickets and go every chance we get. She isn't 42 inches tall yet, so we have a blast in the lazy river, wave pool, and 2 separate areas with slides and rides for little kids. The lines are pretty short and go quickly in these areas. Even though she isn't tall enough to ride all of the rides yet, she always loves to go back. Parking in free with season tickets. We pack a lunch and have a picnic in the parking lot when we get hungry. I recommend bringing folding chairs for that.
We want back in 2015. At that time, the park was clean. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. They lost a star for not being honest with my children about some of the rides. One in particular where the floor drops and then you fall into the slide. I feel that if the rider asks about the experience, hen they should say - the floor will drop. Most people ride for the experience and not to feel like there was a surprise terrifying secret to the ride.
Not a fan of this place. This place is such a rip off. My husband family came from Birmingham, AL for a week because my husband was diagnosed with cancer. We decided to go to the water park as a family. Unfortunately we got there close to 4pm because my husband wasn't feeling well that morning. We were only there for an hour before they close the rides due to thunder & lightning which only last for 5 minutes. It never rain the whole time we were waiting. I end up buying something to eat from the family because we really didn't want to leave and waste our money. It's close to 6:30 and the park still haven't open the rides again. Then at 6:30 you hear the park will be closing in 30 minutes. I'm like really I thought it close at 8. Now I'm pissed because I work to hard just to give a billion dollar company my hard earn money for a serves that we didn't receive. After speaking to Joe who stated he was the Food and Beverage manager he stated there's nothing he could do no refund, no exchange and no raincheck. But I just hard him offer a couple the opportunity to come back on tomorrow free of charge. We left and I wrote review on Facebook. Rosie asked for my number and called to apologize . She offer me 4 free tickets at this time all I want is my money back. Like I mention to Rosie I have a husband with cancer I don't have money to waste. I could be using that money on his treatment. This place don't care about there customer. I completely understand that policies are in place for a reason but if you are going to put a policy in action then stand by your service. I will not just let this company just treat hard working people like this. If I have to stand outside and warn people I will. I want my money back and that's the only thing I will accept.
I have been a season pass holder for a few years now. This year they change from having the card to a wrist band and a paper tag for parking. Unfortunately I have misplaced my parking permit and I contacted the office to see how to replace the tag and how much was it going to cost $30.00 the same if I needed to replace my season pass. I feel that since my wristband has free parking there should be a one time deal where they would replace the parking permit but as for the band I understand paying that amount. Nobody has returned my phone call and I replied to an email and haven't got a respond either. I feel that management is horrible and isn't fair to returning season pass holders. I will not be purchasing another season pass next year and will be purchasing them for another water park. I will also inform my co-workers and family how they want to charge $30.00 to replace a free parking permit in which I have already purchased early to obtain this. Very disappointed in the management.
Even though online does not tell you how much it is at the door. And Paradise River is very short. I had a great time with my son for his birthday. I do want to go back when all ride are working so I can give a better score. Prices are high for food drinks. But there is fast food near by and they let you reenter. All in all not a bad place.
