  • Really fun place to visit and shops for everyone! My family and I were only there for a couple of hours over the holidays, but it was great and worth going back to explore more! Great food (and fudge from Ellen's), interesting little shops like the Dutch and German shops. The employees in each of these places were wonderful! A lot of different fabric/craft/sewing shops, too. Fun place just to walk around and surprisingly very few people there the week between Christmas and New Year's.
  • This place is a tourist's dream during the holidays. Each quaint little house-turned-mom n' pop is lit up or decorated to make the entire area look like a Lifetime movie. Flip side of this is that service tends to suffer and food at some of the restaurants becomes less-than-appetizing. If you're new here, a local or just passing through, come during some weekday lunchtime. Old Town Spring is a ghost town during the week, but several of the shops and eateries are still open. They could use the business and you'll actually find a spot to park. Plus, it's just more relaxing to walk around the shops, browse and maybe even pick up a little something when you're not waiting in lines and bumping elbows.
  • Old Town Spring is so adorable! It is a must see for all of our out of town visitors. You can stroll their entire town on foot, checking out all the local shops, lots of homemade goods. There are clothing boutiques. Metaphysical/energy and new age stores. There is an awesome old fashioned toy store and candy shop! And a few cafe style and southern bbq restaurants to choose from to eat. Also, sometimes they have live music and other events going on, depending on time of year.
  • Old Town Spring isn't as good as it used to be, but it's still a good place to go around the holidays and during special events. There were pretty good crowds this weekend but some of the best stores have moved on to greener pastures elsewhere and there isn't a lot of food and beverage offerings. Plus it's fairly close to The Woodlands so there is plenty of competition and they stores stay open longer.
  • I have been coming here since I was young child and still love it! I used to come exclusively at Christmas time, but started going year-round. Everyone in the shops is so lovely, and passionate about what they do. The food has always been absolutely awesome! Cannot say enough great things about this gem.
