  • We loved every single minute we were there! Next time we’ll bring our swim suits. They were swimming! The grounds are beautiful & the bathrooms clean.

  • There isn't much at this park ... just a 30-min mermaid show, a boat ride on the river, and a swimming spring (if you do not mind cold water) ... the show was okay ... the boat ride line was full for....  more

  • Our first Vacation In Florida and this place was definitely on our list as my daughter LOVES mermaids. We started to go one day and soon as we arrived it began raining hard so we decided to try again the next day. We arrived around noon and while waiting in line we were called over to the customer service and gifted admission for our family! This was such a blessing as this trip was a stretch financially anyway but as a mom that grew up not having any vacations, I'm determined to make sure my own children have wonderful memories of them. This place is awesome for a day of fun. Just wished it was open a little later. After we watched the shows and did the boat ride we only got about an hour at the beach before closing so Definitely go early as possible. Still so grateful for our complimentary fun day!! The mermaid show was definitely an awesome experience!
  • There is very little to do if you're not planning on swimming. We went in October, the crowds were minimal, but there were still lines for the boat ride and the mermaid show. A slightly cheesy "ranger experience" wildlife show is offered. Not a bad thing to sit through, but oriented for the younger folks. You can enjoy seeing the springs from the theater that allows you peer right into crystal clear water and the little ones will enjoy the mermaids. Something fun in the whole historic value of how long this has been going on. The boat ride is likely quite a nice little half hour trip but do plan to wait in line to get to ride it. On our visit the waits were a half hour the first time we checked, then an hour, then an hour and half. We did not go on the boat. The grounds are nothing to see, quite bland almost depressing in their ran down state. Buildings are from another era and well, just a bit ran down. Food options are there but minimal, Fried foods, premade items in a cold case, some ice cream options. A picnic might be the right way to go here as coolers are allowed. The swim park looked like a nice place to get to dive into some spring water. The few slides they have look quite old, but I would imagine still fun for the younger crowd. I would try them. It was too chilly for us to consider. You will not see the river at this park. We were shocked at this. It is there, traveling through the park but there is no boardwalk or path along the river. There is a separate area where you can do boat rentals to travel down this river. All in all, for 13 dollars and change, you won't feel cheated, but just know, this is not an up-to-date park, and you will feel like you've just gone back in time a good 30, 40, 50 years or so. The wait times may be off putting for something that you would like to do, but not wait a great amount of time standing around in a line to do.
  • Fantastic old school fun! The mermaid show is amazing! Do get in line very early as seats fill up. Make sure you bring your swim suit to take a dip in the spring! Water remains a consistent temp year round but feels cool in the summer/warm in the winter months. Give yourself plenty of time to explore.
  • Definitely recommend you to get there 30 minutes PRIOR of the opening time in order to get in before it maxes out! Also, make sure to always get 30-45 minutes before the show starts because it gets to the maximum capacity really quickly. Very great prices for the tickets because it includes the riverboat, mermaids, and water slides from Buccaneer Bay! The mermaid show was great, and very entertaining! The mermaid show lasted about 30 minutes and it was well worth the wait! The riverboat cruise was very calming and relaxing place with a great opportunity to learn more about Florida and their Spring water. Lots of wildlife animals are present, fishes, turtles, birds, and even peacocks throughout the park! Also, the water is freezing in the Waterpark, it takes a while to getting used to!
  • My family and I visited this park on February, it was not busy at all. My kids loved the mermaid show. The swimming area is small. The boat ride was nice we saw 2 manatees. Other than that there's not much else to do except kayaking, but that's a separate business.
