4.6/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web
A public park, Riverfront Park spans 40 hectares (100 acres) and has features ranging from bike trails and walking paths, to a sculpture walk and IMAX theater. The park’s position along the Spokane River offers some of the best views of the falls. To see the falls close up, take a 15-minute ride in the SkyRide gondola. Get into nature on one of the many walking paths or by biking the Great Centennial Trail, which has access points from the park. Kids will love the many amusement rides, as well as the Looff Carrousel, which is over 100 years old and is featured on the National Register of Historic Places. You can finish off your day by grabbing a bite to eat at the Pavilion Cafe. Add Riverfront Park and other attractions to your Spokane trip itinerary using our Spokane trip builder.

  • While on a 2 day visit to Spokane, we went for a walk to Riverfront park & were surprised that a lot of it was fenced off. Looked like they were redoing some of the park as well as the Chinese lantern...  read more »
  • Really enjoyed the Chinese Lantern Festival. Great time for the family to hang out together. Beautiful light displays.
  • This is a nice central location downtown near shops and the mall and the Davenport. It's really nice to have a park in the middle of it all. We went to there specifically for the lantern festival here...  read more »
  • Pleasantly surprised! Great day, plenty of sun. The falls are wonderful, especially seeing them from the suspension bridges. Even the gondola ride was nice. Plenty of children friendly activities, carousel, train ride.. One of those business trips you really wish your family could have went with you. My only concern is the amount of "backpackers"... (homeless) I was looking over my shoulder more than I normally do.
  • Always active and being renovated for even more greatness. The theme park is a favorite no where else could I get season pass for 36 and kids ride rides any day through summer and spring + bits of fall. The Ice rink and Imax just add to what you can do to make the season pass pay for itself. Riverfront also has Canada Island also known now as Pokemon Island a huge fan favorite for the game PokemonGo.
  • One of the best parks spokane has to offer. Large, with lots of interesting history surrounding industrial spokane's past and expo '74. It's great for Pokemon Go, kids, dates, killing time, etc.
  • This is a great park, normally. It's currently under construction and there seems to be more agressive homeless people there now than ever before. I'm fine with the homeless but I don't want to be yelled at for no reason while I'm with my child like I was tonight. The last time I was there about two weeks ago, a man tryed to talk to my son into going with him. I shut it down quickly but they are very aggressive. I will visit again in the future and hope to not have problems next time....
  • Excellent park for walking, running, cycling. Beautiful views from the bridges. Well lit at night. Felt safe as a woman walking alone day and night. Lots of pokestops if you play.
