#Nature / Park, #Must See
A public park, Riverfront Park spans 40 hectares (100 acres) and has features ranging from bike trails and walking paths, to a sculpture walk and IMAX theater. The park’s position along the Spokane River offers some of the best views of the falls. To see the falls close up, take a 15-minute ride in the SkyRide gondola. Get into nature on one of the many walking paths or by biking the Great Centennial Trail, which has access points from the park. Kids will love the many amusement rides, as well as the Looff Carrousel, which is over 100 years old and is featured on the National Register of Historic Places. You can finish off your day by grabbing a bite to eat at the Pavilion Cafe. • We love this park. While parking is frustrating at times, I’m rarely disappointed in our visits here. The newly renovated carousel is beautiful. The skyride is now open again for a ride over the water...  more »
  • A lot of upgrades to the park. It looks really nice. The carousel is beautiful and the falls are great to walk to and observe. Plenty of benches to sit and hang out. Would recommend if you’re in Spoka...  more »

  • This is one of the most gorgeous areas of Spokane. Whether you are looking to relax or enjoy the different attractions, there is something for everybody. Watching the geese in the water, is always a treat. We usually park on the north side of the park so we can enjoy the falls and gorgeous scenery on the way. The fact that the park is right downtown is a bonus. A break from shopping or after the movies; nature is just a short stroll away...
  • I personally like this park a lot. I didn't know it was bigger till pig out. It was beautiful. In winter, we only go to the ribbon and ice skate but we didn't see the entire place. We rode the cable car down the falls and back, it was a goos experience for the kids. Pig out was so cool. Too many food stands to choose from.
  • One of my favorite things about Spokane. Great place to visit whether you are riding your bike, going on a leisurely stroll, entertaining the family, or just seeking some peace and quiet. The, which was the site of Expo '74 - the first environmentally themed world's fair - has numerous paths, several scenic bridges across the river, an awesome playground, skating rink, waterfall views, and too many peacefully shady spots to relax or have a picnic. And it's convenient located in the heart of downtown.
  • First time to this park. It spans two sections of the Spokane river. Some parts of it are currently under construction, but it is still very beautiful. Lots of places for great photos. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, and it wasn't too busy. Trees with river reflection are perfect match.
  • Love this time of year! Pig out in the park not only exposes great quality food but is so much fun for the whole family! Loved it, would highly recommend
