  • Visited Sharp Rock based on the trip advisor reviews. The location is charming and the owner was SO friendly. The wine was just not good unfortunately! My boyfriend and I like reds but are pretty open...  more »
  • The owner was great and very friendly. It's hard for me to rate a winery because everyone's taste in wine is different. These weren't to my taste, but they weren't bad. Having visited several VA winer...  more »
  • We very much enjoyed this vineyard. Getting there is great fun with the right vehicle! Lots of winding country roads if you're interested (and there are more straightforward routes, if you're not!). T...  more »

  • What I love about Sharp Rock Vineyards is that it is a small, boutique, family run, farm vineyard! They offer a variety of homemade cheeses from the Amish, delicious summer sausages and a French loaf which is to die for! They sit at the foot of Old Rag Mountain and the views are fantastic! Jimm has done a phenomenal job with the wines! Make sure to make Sharp Rock a stop...if you can find Old Rag you can find Sharp Rock! Don't forget to say hi to Doc, the resident Bernese Mountain wine pup!
  • Stopped in on a rainy afternoon. As an Oregonian I'm a little skeptical of east coast wineries, but Sharp Rock does not dissapoint. Girlfriend isn't a red drinker, but thought everything was very drinkable. The 2012 cab franc is amazing, and he did awesome work with the Old Rag red blend. Property is gorgeous, probably perfect for a summer picnic! Will definitely return. Don't miss this spot!
  • Loved this place. Had a wine tasting and then bought a bottle of wine, loaf of bread and cheese and enjoyed the outdoor seating.
  • The wine here was ok. It was very hard to find this place and once we were there it seemed like we were in someone's back yard as opposed to a vineyard. They offered prepackaged food for purchase and I'm pretty sure it caused my entire group to have stomach problems later that evening.
  • We spent our honeymoon here in the cottage and loved it. Jimm is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and we loved all of the wines. Will definitely be coming back several times a year.
