  • They have one of the best and most reasonably priced buffets you'll find in our area. Servers are pleasant and efficient. Seniors get a 10% discount if you tell the server!!!

  • I guess that a captive audience (20-30 minutes to another eatery) engenders sloppiness in the minds of food preparers. I am certain that our waitress could have prepared better food than was delivered...  more »

  • Very nice state park. We camped there and I love the size of the site's. There are plenty to choose from too! Wildlife everywhere. Beautiful waterfalls, fun trails. The lookout offered great views, we watched the sun start to set at buzzards roost, wish we could have seen the whole thing but they lock the gate at 6pm. Would definitely recommend! Would definitely visit again! Visited middle of August.
  • pretty OK place. campsites are a wee bit small. facilities are good+. area is awesome. reasonably easy to get to. staff is helpful and friendly. worthy of a return trip. VZW 4G is good enough to review Fall Creek Falls right from our campsite also coverage is ok to use phone as a hiking guide.
  • The sights were unbelievable. I wouldn't recommend going late summer if you are expecting thriving falls. The lack of rain made them barely a trickle. The reason Im giving it 1 star is solely based on the number of inconsiderate people smoking ON THE TRAILS. It made the experience terrible to breathe that in while in such confined areas, not to mention how dangerous this is. We thought we'd cool off in the pool and paid a fair price to do so and guess what...rule number 6 in the pool village was NO SMOKING. So you can imagine my surprise when a girl lit up behind me and was puffing away for me to choke on her smoke. I informed the life guards who told me that they don't really follow that rule and if it bothered me I WOULD HAVE TO MOVE! Excuse me? When did smoking in state and national parks become legal? So if you hate smoke and rude people, I would not recommend this park.
  • Fall Creek Falls is stunning and lives up to its reputation of beautiful waterfalls. There are several different trails to hike, and those we went on all had their beautiful views to enjoy. The suspension bridge we encountered was a lot of fun, and we also rode horses at the nearby stables and had a great time. The lodge has wonderful food, and, like at many of the other state parks here in Tennessee, everyone was fantastic and helped ensure our stay was wonderful. The campground area is laid out in typical state park fashion with several loops, and they were tight but mostly easy to navigate. The slots are beautiful, though, and we will certainly be back at some point in the future!
  • Good food and friendly restaurant staff. We love the park for pleasant walks and pretty drives in all seasons...it's lovely in the winter too. Great water quality. We've rented cabins and boats in the past and have had great times, making this our favorite TN state park! They sell beautiful split oak baskets in the gift shop made by regional craftspeople.
