  • the old plantation and grounds were interesting. They werent really kept in the condition I expected for a place of this historical prominence. They needed more help and maintenance.
  • Ms. Molly was a fantastic curator for this amazing, historical plantation. The facts were very interesting and she was knowledgeable for any questions we asked. My son was thrilled with his reasonably priced souvenir from the gift shop. It was an enjoyable experience all around for our field trip of 3rd graders! Thank-you!
  • Wonderful trip to learn about history of SC.
  • it was ok but not great. They are lacking a lot of basic information about life back then. Pathways need some maintenance.Worth a stop but don't expect too much.
  • Nice house and grounds. Watch for signs as you get close as Google tells you to turn off 1 block too early. Tour guide of house was nice but he was new and admitted he was guessing about a lot of the details.
  • Very nice place to visit. They could do better if the would bring in a slave house to show what life was like for them. It's not very large now but this was large plantation house for that time and location. My granddaughters enjoyed it.
