  • I guess I was surprised how small this "plantation" house is. I didn't realize that not all owners were rich. Interesting inside on everyday life on a plantation.  more »

  • I would have given it a 5 however the ladies doing candle making were more drill sargents than helpers. I do realize kids need to pay attention and be extremely careful, however making a child cry is another story. Yelling at a child for being one step behind or not moving at the speed of light is disheartening to say the least. The actual tour of the house was great and we had a very kind, knowledgeable lady. She was patient and I was thankful for that.
  • I love history, so glad we took the extra couple miles off the highway to visit. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made history come to life .this place is truly a gem.
  • Very informative guide and also added stories about pass owners made it very interesting.
  • Love this place went many times as a child and plan to take my 3 kiddo soon going here as a child made me have an appreciation and love for history and for antiques this was the fist place I ever tasted fresh churned butter I would still like to get a butter churn one day and make my own milk made style
  • Great educational experience. A little expensive considering they are also receiving tax dollars as well as charging admission.
